Letter-Writing Campaign This campaign is our largest single fundraising initiative for the year and our most important. Campaign packets are typically distributed at the Spring Registration meeting and are due back as soon as possible. No later than March 31st. Participation of each student/family is mandatory. Any questions may be directed to the Crew Boosters Board.
Our largest single fundraising initiative for the year and our most important. Each child on the team is responsible for preparing a standard fundraising letter to be sent out to 12 individuals (family, friends, professional contacts, etc.) asking for donations to the Crew Team. These are done in the early fall. We encourage you to add elements to personalize your letters. Many have added personal notes, pictures of past crew activities or other items to enhance the opportunity for donations. Once the master name and address list is prepared with your contact info and finalized letters (you provide the stamps), the packets are returned to the Letter-Writing Campaign representative for dispatch and tracking. Detailed instructions are provided at the time of initial hand-out of the materials. Individual thank-you letters are sent to each individual making a contribution to the team by the Letter-Writing Campaign representative and each family will be advised of contributions made.
